Founded in 2016, MVD is a chef-owned restaurant and bar in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. With an international scope, specializing in locally sourced, unprocessed ingredients and wine pairings, dining options include à la carte tapas and multi-course tasting menus, with or without wine pairings, as well as a full-service bar. The ambition of the restaurant is to be conscious of food choices and to minimize food waste.
HOURS
On Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, the restaurant offers an à la carte, small-plate tapas menu throughout the dining room and bar. Take-out food is also available in the evening, capacity permitting.
Reservations are strongly encouraged.
The restaurant is typically closed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. However, we are available for private events on premises or for pick-up. Please email or call us with details of your request.
Multi-course, reservation-only tasting menus are offered on holidays and special occassions throughout the year. A limited menu will be available for walk-in customers at the bar on these nights. Please check or Menu page for updates.
